I have a 93 short bed standard cab and am interested in seeing what a set of either 93 cobra wheels or 94/95 thunderbird wheels would look like on a ranger. I found 17" replicas for the Tbird but they are a different bolt pattern and the cobra versions I think are 16" and four lug. I will worry about how to mount them after I see what they look like. TIA

These are what I am thinking about, never seen them done and can't find any pictures of them on a ranger either.

My truck is black but this one will do for this experiment

Tbird wheels are 4 lug.

Sorry.
This is incorrect. Fox body tbirds where 4 lug, yes. I said 94-95 and actually 89 up tbirds have a 5x4.25 pattern as opposed to the rangers 5x4.5 pattern.

'93 Cobra wheels are 17x7s and they're 4 lug. They've been doing a group buy on a 5 lug version over on corral.net, and you would probably need spacers.

The mn-12 Thunderbird wheels are 15x6.5, and they have a front wheel drive offset.

Looks good with the bird wheels BUT be careful with the center caps. I had a 95 LX (God how I miss her) They will scratch very easily!

Yea, I had a '94 LX I got rid of that I shouldn't have. I will get another sometime in the future. Probably a 5.0l though.

Back to the ranger, I posted the same thread on another site and it turned out better I think. Here is the link http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65418
