anybody have thoughts on what i could bolt to the holes that are in the bumper currently then attach the bumper to that. i was thinking a sheet of dimond plate but im not sure i could weld on to that with what i have. all the things going to do is hold one or two KC highligter style lights

Please check your laws; I don't think the state of Minnesota allows that. That tag is just bravado from someone thinking that he needs extreme gun politics to fit in here. This is a TRUCK BUILD SITE. Please try to keep your politics in your pants.

Seriously? Picking on him because of his beliefs? There is nothing wrong with his sig, and all you're doing is making trouble. Were you not the one bashing people and bringing politics into this site in your original intro? Hypocrisy.

+1 The mods will ban you (coyote) if you decide to mull up mnsmokeater's build thread. If there's a problem with his sig, the mods would've changed it by now, so calm down and keep it to yourself. :stop:

MN, this is gonna be one heck of a build!! I might even fancy a drive to Solway sometime to check it out! :icon_thumby:

my state laws yes i know them, mn is a castle doctrine state. i have: no duty to retreat before using deadly force to prevent a felony in one's place of abode; no duty to retreat before using deadly force in self defense in one's place of abode

609.065 JUSTIFIABLE TAKING OF LIFE.

The intentional taking of the life of another is not authorized by section 609.06, except when necessary in resisting or preventing an offense which the actor reasonably believes exposes the actor or another to great bodily harm or death, or preventing the commission of a felony in the actor's place of abode.

that line is from this song "way out here" by josh tompson

"Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun
And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son
Our necks are burnt, our roads are dirt and our trucks ain't clean
The dogs run lose, we smoke, we chew and fry everything
Out here, way out here

(Chorus)
We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere
Way out here

We got a fightin' side a mile wide but we pray for peace
'Cause it's mostly us that end up servin' overseas
If it was up to me I'd love to see this country run
Like it used to be, oughta be, just like it's done
Out here, way out here

(Chorus)
We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere
Way out here

We won't take a dime if we ain't earned it
When it comes to weight brother we pull our own
If it's our backwoods way of livin' you're concerned with
You can leave us alone
We're about John Wayne, Johnny Cash and John Deere
Way out here, way out here

Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun
And you might meet 'em both if you show up here not welcome son"

and as Iron Ranger said if the Mods or Jim Oaks himself, who All know me, had any problem with my Siggy they are more then welcome to change it...its not the only one on that theme i have had throughout my time here like these:
si vis pacem, para bellum
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
