Alright, I posted this in the 4.0 section, but I figured this might be a good place too. I have a 4.0 OHV supercharged in a 1994 Ranger, and I need the files to tune it with a Moates Quarterhorse. My PCM code is HAG0 and the Moates C/S guy said my strategy code is W2E1. I'd really appreciate any help in getiing ahold of these files.

Alright, when I was messing around looking at different software and such, I downloaded the TwEECer software, and found the file W2E1.dat in one of the folders. Is this one of the files I need?

Couldnt tell you. I use Binary editor software and the definition files (strategy files) are .xlsx files, but I would guess you are on the right track.

Well, today I found after screwing around with the files for a bit that the TwEECer version is a .DAT file, and I need, like Davis said, a .XLSX file for BE. I really don't want to have to convert to OBD-II unless I absolutly have to. Does anyone know where I can find a PCM interchange list? TwEECer supports the UMP1 Explorer/Ranger PCM, but I don't know what year range that came in or whether or not it will plug in with little modification.

In all honesty you could take most v6 computers and adapt them. It's not ideal, but doable. I'm pretty sure QH supports a fair number of v6 ecus.

Hey man, not to hijack ur thread, but could u tell me how u SC'd ur OHV 4.0? I am looking to do so to my 91 explorer 4.0 OHV and am in need of guidance.
