Ford ranger xlt lifted - $6000

1999 Ford Ranger Xlt 149xxx miles manual 3.0 flex fuel, asking 5500 obo.
I have owned the truck for the past 4 years, bought to from my uncle who had it from showroom. The truck has had all scheduled maintenance done to it according to Ford.
Engine 65,000 on it, was taken out and cleaned and put in new gaskets when truck had about 85,000. Transmission was also cleaned at that time. Stage 2 clutch was put in then engine and transmission were dropped back in. there is also a brand new 210amp alternator and high torque starter. The truck has a 4 inch trailmaster suspension and a 3 inch body lift on it. It was done in a certified 4x4 shop so it is done right for the street and the trail. Currently sitting on 33 inch bf tires with American racing rims. Put in a jks shock mount upgrade with 4 new top of the line nitro shocks. Interior has been repainted from ugly gray to fresh jet black. New hd jvc cd / radio with remote and aftermarket jvc speakers all around. Flame gauges were also put in. aftermarket exhaust with high flow cats. Aggressive mufflers recently put in. new jasper rear axle and ox locker put in 3000 miles ago. kobolt locking toolbox and rear view camera with large 4.3 inch display included. Rear view includes rear night vision kit. Everything works amazing on the truck, can easily match current mileage. I’m asking $6000 but i am very negotiable, make me an offer: REASONABLE OFFERS WILL NOT BE TURNED DOWN!!!!!

IMHO you are priced too high, it is a sweet truck but I really think anything over 4k for a 11 yo truck with 150k miles is high, have you looked into edmunds to get a price/value?

yes i have but along with more then 75% of trucks on here, my truck has a lift, custom work, engine work, etc. and edmunds, kbb and the rest of similar sites like that dont factor in that kind of stuff into the value of the truck.

well if i was closer i would jump on it for 5,000 if only it was for sale a month ago i was just there playin hockey wayne,nj. very nice truck not sure why it hasnt sold because it is a beaut

It is a buyers market right now and those who are out shopping for toys are looking to damn near steal your vehicle from you...

You will probably have to keep lowering your price if you need to move it now...sucks I know but that is the way it is out there right now...those with some money are holding on to it with gas going up constantly and jobs not being all that secure.....

the gear ratios are 3.73 all around front and back because its a 4x4

there is a reason they don't factor in those kinds of things, it is because they don't add value.

a $20,000 custom paint job will not add $20,000 to the value of a $3,000 car/truck it may add value for insurance but not for the new buyer that may not want things like custom paint , engine mods that make an engine less reliable even if it adds performance, lift that may not have been installed correctly or make the vehicle handle different than it would stock and accessories they may not need or want. It doesn't mean you can't get what you think it is worth you just need to wait for the right buyer and wait and wait and wait

it isnt just you struggling to sell the truck. i have a stock 99 with 31's on it. has high mileage but it wont sell for nothing. best of luck to you.
