i bought a 3.0 about a month ago.. its a 4x4 5 speed manual trans my check engine light is one so i ran the codes. Ten codes are showing. I have manual trans so i shouldnt have shift seleniods or a troque convertor correct? maybe the person before me had to put a new computer in and put a auto computer in? I know that bank one and two could be lean because of the missfires, but what are the rest?

P0708-Trans Range sensor circuit high imput
P0743- Torque convertor clutch circut eletrical
P0750- Shift A selsenoid Malfunction
P0755-Shift B selsenoid Malfunction
P0760-Shift c selsenoid Malfunction
P1143- Air assist control range valve
P0302-Miss fire in cylinder 2
P0304-missifre in cylinder 4
P0171- bank 1 to lean
P0174 - bank 2 to lean

It sounds like you may have the wrong ECM I have a 94 b-4000 4.0 L previous owner swapped it and got one for a automatic I have a stick shift. It idled way to fast had to unhook IAC and set up my idle. I have yet to find the correct one. Mine kept throwing out code for automatic trans. about a yr ago I put in a request for anyone with a stick shift for a ECM #
 
What are the spec's on the truck ? year, engine , trans , ect.
 
its a 3.0 1997 ford ranger 4x4 5 speed trans. is that what you wanted to know
 
fixed the missfires which fixed the bank to lean and the air control sensor is fixed a vacuum line was undone. found out that i have the wrong computer so they expliane the rest of the codes.
