So ive had a misfire on cylinder 2 and now im driving my sisters car so i can work on my ranger. I took down to advance auto today to check the codes before i started tearing into it and pulled up 5:
P0443- EVAP Emissions Control System Purge Valve C fault
P0301- misfire cylinder 1
P0302- misfire cylinder 2
P0304- misfire cylinder 4
P0171- bank 1 too lean
I though i had narrowed it down to a dead injector on cylinder 2 and was going to check that once i got the truck into my garage but now im showing a misfire on 3 cylinders. Could there be one thing causing most/all of these or do i have alot of problems here?
i have recently replaced:
plugs (motorcraft double plat)
wires
fuel filter
checked air filter
there might be more but thats all i can think of right now. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I want to get this fixed asap, my sisters car is a neon
