Help Needed: Auto to Manual Hubs

I picked up a set of the Superwinch hubs with the conversion kit to replace my failing auto hubs ('95 Ranger). The conversion kit includes two "lock nuts". I use the quotes, because they have no profile to them, they are simply round with four notches on the outside every 90 degrees. They want to be torqued to 150lb/ft, but I can't figure out what to use to torque them. No socket fits them, since they are round, and a big set of pliers is never going to get me 150lb/ft. Any ideas?

not trying to be too much of a smart ass but go to your local parts house and ask them for the right kind of socket. obviously it is not a standard one but they make them specially for the application. please dont hurt your self with such simple thoughts

This is what you are looking for. You can get them at any auto store for around $10. I reccomend this one locknut thread. If you scroll down to post 5. This one is less likely to come off the locknut when you are torqueing it down. I have both and highly recommend that one.

Good Luck

A smart ass reply would be well deserved. Can't believe it didn't occur to me. Thanks for the replies, guys.
