1984 long bed ranger wc t5 tran, 347,probe ft pistons,10.6to 1. 3D eagle rods/steel crank internal bal. 185 pro comp heads air gap intake. 575 speed demon. 355 gears.26" tires what cam for daily driver? 51027 lunati? xe XE270? I want to get the best mileage possible. used would be fine

You want something with a wide LSA for mileage. Look at EFI spec cams with an LSA of 114-116* Only problem is your compression ratio, it's going to limit you to running premuim gas. My 331 would pull down 16 mpg without overdrive when I had it in the Ranger. Cam in it's a Z303. Compression's about the same at 10.4 to 1. It will not run 87 octane at all. I've only fed it 93 since the first tank full.
 
I figured on premium even more reason for a gas saver cam
