I have a '97 GMC Sierra that I had a true dual exhaust set up with no mufflers running out the side of the truck just under the x-cab window. Not enough back preasure and my truck was running funny so I put an x pipe on to even out both banks and creat a little extra back preasure. So i figured I would do a couple sound videos of the before and after sound since I have ran into alot of people (such as myself) who have never heard an x or h pipe before. So, here ya go.

First one is with TRUE DUAL with no mufflers.

Second is same set up but with an x pipe.

Ya I just noticed that. Thanks, I added the right clip for the open exhaust one. I wish I could slid the camera back some, but I already had the one clip before I put the x pipe on so I figured I would put it in the same spot so they would be equal. I have some other small vids of the truck wheelin with the open exhaust so I might go hit the mud again with the new sound and compare those since it would be from further away.

Actually by watching the wheelin vid and the close one, I decided to just run outside and take another from a distance with the x pipe. So here are two others. One in the mud is open, and at the house is with the x pipe.

Thank you both for the compliments. I really like the sound of the straight pipe with the x in the middle. I love the sound of a mufflerless engine and the x just cuts the popping and sucking sound.
