Gauge Cluster

I have a 87 Ranger with the 2.3 four. It's the basic truck, no power steering, no power brakes, nothing. Can I install a gauge cluster out of a 86-88 with the factory tach? will it just plug in and work? Thanks for the help.

You can swap the clusters out but you will still have to wire in the tach. You might be better just adding a aftermarket tach to your truck. A lot less hassle.
