92 Ranger 3.0
So after a cold snap my clutch started going soft, still shifted alright but it was really easy to depress the pedal. After a while it started to get harder to engage into first, so I topped off the clutch fluid, and action went back to the way it was. However I noticed a small puddle of clutch fluid under the font of the tranny, about the size of a dollar coin. Not very much. So I guess there must be a leak in there somewhere, but it is hard to see, I followed the line down from the reservoir but nothing there. Is there any way to inspect the line to the slave cylinder further without dropping the tranny? I've never dropped one before and I'm not looking forward to doing it. Also, any likely culprits for where the leak might be?
