how far can you life a 1st gen ranger and b2 before you need make em longer
:dunno:
thanks for the info

Usually around 5" but you might be able to get to 6" without a problem.

My choptop is currently running a custom 5" suspension lift with no problems (I did have to put a U-joint rear driveshaft on it though, CV shafts are junk and have trouble holding up to stock height, but there were some factory U-joint shafts in BIIs). I also put a 2" body lift on it and am currently on 33's but I should be able to clear 35's (just have to get two more tires to complete my set and get 'em mounted). IMHO, thats plenty tall enough for a BII, if you want bigger tires than that, start cutting the fenders.

my b2 does have the ujoint shafts so a 4inch lift is safe thank you sir.
