I just picked up a 4x4 1998explorer with a v-8 and auto transmission in it I am going to swap it to my 88 Xcab 4x4 had a 2.9 in it then i swap to a 4.0 but its time for a v-8. Has anyone used the motor for this swap. If so and help and hints will be a big help. Thank:icon_bounceblue:
 
Never been done. And there are no internet forums outlining in complete detail how to do every little part, with members who are willing to help when you get to a sticky point, after you've done some reading on your own. Too bad, because it sounds like a great idea.
 
a bit of sarcasm? lol I think you'll be alright, as Teddyzee shows, hes got a 5.0 in his truck! lol.....Mess around with the 'search' bar a bit on here, but what some of these guys dont allow is for new members with specific needs, to ask repetative questions...

If I dont find what I'm looking for in 'search' bar in first 2 pages, I'm dropping a thread! lol
