dont know if toyota did it so his vehicles would look more"familiar" to american buyers, or its just they lack of good interior designers:icon_confused:, toyota interiors have been always too simple and plain imo...

PLAGIARISM!!!! They have stolen out interiors!!:icon_rofl:

I don't know. For my money, the most flagrant plagiarism Toyota did was the Ranger versus Tacoma front end. That grille is a Japanese interpretation of the Ranger grille, it has two center bars and the side vents and everything.

no one has noticed this before look at all toyota products. just like all there lexus products are knock off mercedes and bmw. IS430 looks alot like a benz s430.

Who says Toyota's design wasn't first? Maybe Ford did the stealing? There's always two sides to the story...

Its a gauge cluster... theres only so many things you can do to it before it starts looking like someone else's...

that cluster has being around since the 95 ranger dashboard update, and toyota sequoia came out it 01
also the f-150 dash did came out like in 97~98 if not wrong

wow thats pretty strange hahaha...

Wasn't the first Tundra modeled after the F-150. I think I read that in a magazine somewhere. The original name for the Tundra was supposed to be the T-150.

They are amazingly similar. But I have to also agree. There are only so many differences you can have on a dash and interior before they stop looking like a dash and interior.

actually the first full size toyota truck try was called T-100 (f-100 anyone?)
and yes at the end all dashes look a like, but gm and ford's have not even a curve in common.

At least the Toyota's gauges actually work. Unlike the Ford's dummy gauges. Also, I see a stick shift on the Toyota for the 4x4 system.

It's a dash...It has numbers, dials, and needles...

They all look similar..

My interior is the same as the last two Ford pictures shown, and the gauges work just fine. I highly doubt Toyota has mechanical gauges in their vehicles...

BTW, I also have a stick on the floor for 4x4...
