Can I convert my Ranger from manual to Power group

Hi guys,

I hope I'm posting this in the right section. I went to the scrap yard today and saw a nice FX4 on the lot. It got me thinking; how easy would it be to convert my '06 Ranger to power locks and windows? The guy wanted 450$ for the panels, the actuator and the fob. Would it be a big job? How about the wiring? the brackets for the actuators? Would I be better off buying the whole doors? Has anyone attempted this before?

i would think it would all be bolt on and easy to do.. and wiring would be stright forward if you got all the stuff from the donor car. doors would be really easy, but not needed. just be sure to get all the parts from donor truck.

Thanks for the advice, I think that that's what I'll do. It'll also minimize the risks of problems down the line...

Its more work than you think, I've done it. You will have to add a wiring harness to the dash and a few relays. Here's a how to I put together...its probably easier to just change the dash harness...
