has anybody ever used one of these on their ranger? howd did it work and was it worth the money

Check out Rogueperformance. Fred has great tunes and great costumer service. You could also check out Bamachips but Doug's service has been terrible lately. Both of these guys load custom tunes onto an SCT Xcalibrator 3. I heard Henson and brenspeed will do rangers, too. You can pick up an X3 from these guys for around $400.
