Here's the deal:
I'm getting a 4.0L motor for free, and I have two options. Put it into my 93 Explorer, or swap my 2.3L out for the 4.0. I want to do the swap, but I don't have any of the accompanying parts to go with the engine(i.e. harness, computer, radiator, fan, etc, etc).
I also don't have the tranny that went with the motor.
I'm fully capable of the swap, and I can research the info on what I need to get, but I want to hear what you folks think about it before I inundate myself with too much info.
Which tranny should I be looking for?
Can I use stock 90-94 Explorer radiator/fan/etc to use in the swap?
Which ECU can I use?
Any help is appreciated...
