Ok, so I have had my 48 inch Hi Lift jack for some time now and now I want to mount it permanent instead of just tossing it in the cab or the bed when we go camping. I thought about the roof rack but I also have thought about the truck bed on the side of the bed. If I go the truck bed route how do I mount the bolts that hold the jack in place? Are they self-threading? Anybody have the lift mounted this way? I would love to see a few photos if anybody has some of how they mounted the bolts i the truck bed.
