Hey guys, I am new here just got a 83 ranger 4x4 at a couple of months ago, traded a 95 taurus even for it. Runs good. Had to put a new tranny filter/ fluid, high mileage oil change, and a pcv valve, and a/c belt on it, but it runs fine. I drove it home. I haven't had time to take it off road other than the test drive in 4x4 when I got it. Does anyone know of a site you can get original paint schemes from? Pics soon to come. Also, I got a tailgate cable, but I can't get the bolt to connect to anything on the tailgate, anybody got a scematic of it? Thanks, r1hatman
I plan to put a 289 in it and a 3 inch lift kit and 16 or 17 inch wheels off a new exploder with some good mudders and a decent winch. and beef up the suspension and tranny.
