going to be installing one of those signaw power steering pumps in a few days, anyone got any good advice for something i can make in the garage to remove the pulley off the old power steering pump?

Then the good advice would be to go to a local place where you can at least rent the tool you need.

This is one of those "right tool for the right job' jobs in which you simply need the right tool for the right job.
 
yeah, i agree.. ive never used a pulley remover/ installer... so i guess the real question is how does the tool work to remove the pulley, i understand how its installed...
 
thank you captain obvious... the whole point of the post was to figure out how they pull it off so i can figure out if i can make the tool instead of wasting money on buying it.
