Hey guys I'm not sure where to put this post, but here it goes. So I was forced off the road the other day and ran up on a snow bank pretty bad and was forced to be yanked out by a big full size. But I have a problem now when I drive on the highway at like 60+ my whole truck shakes pretty bad and especially the steering wheel. Around town it seems like nothing happened at all and is not pulling either way at all so I have a feeling its not the alignment, but then again I'm not very experienced. If any of you guys can think of what might be the problem that would be great. Thanks

Possible bent wheel, like someone already said, wheel weights, bent tie rod, maybe messed up ball joints, wheel bearings, bent spindle. Could be a number of things. One things for sure, make sure its nothing thats gonna fall apart with you going down the highway!

Death wobble? Does it happen "after" hitting a bump?

Start checking for anything bent broken or missing.

old thread, but I'll add:
I know that when I drive through deep snow, it can sometimes collect inside the rims. Spinning into the ditch will certainly do this. This throws off the balance of the rim. It's not noticable driving slow, but once up to around 60 or so it gets bad. The solution is to let it thaw out in a heated garage. Since it's april this should have fixed itself, if that was the problem. If it's still there, check for other tire and steering components as mentioned above.
I have a similar issue in the summer when I get big chunks of mud stuck inside my rims. This also thows off the balance of the rim and can cause vibration.

all good suggestions............if you put it in Neutral does the shaking improve........

I've seen bad tires (broken bands internally) do this.
