fluid pouring out when i shut engine off

i filled up my power steering pump today on my truck and when i shut the engine off almost all the fluid poured out from the reservoir. what would cause this? thanks in advance

did you try turning it after you shut the truck off? That will pump fluid out.

And it's not overfilled correct?

possible hole in the line or reservoir, possibly just a little pinhole.

no i didnt turn it after i shut it off or nothin i just filled it up when it was running didnt over fill it or nothing like that then shut the engine off and it poured out then turn the engine on again and it was basically empty it really confused me
