Has anyone ever used AVM Manual Locking Hubs as a replacement for vacuum hubs. I need to replace the front hubs on my '99 ranger and I don't want to work on those POS vacuum lockers. I have permanently locked in my front vacuum hubs but I would like to slap a pair of manual hubs on her to prevent unnecessary wear to the front axle/transfer case. Also to get rid of all that rolling resistance for when I driving into town. I finally have the cash around to put into my truck and want to know if its worth the $$$ and the labor. Anyones ever use them? Are they an good? (Dana 35 front axle)
