Has anybody heard if the 6.2 is going into the f-150?

I know that it is going in the raptor, but what about the say, lariat model. Or even maybe the work truck model....

Or am I smoking some funny smelling weed?
 
i believe its only supposed to be available in the raptor until 2011 where it will replace the v10 in the superduty.
 
Wow......you said 6.2 and I was thinking the junk diesel motor they put in the older chevy trucks. Never mind me.
 
Supposedly, the Boss 6.2 OR the Coyote 5.0 will replace the V10 in the super duty's starting the 2011 model year. Ive not read anything about the 6.2 being in a normal f150 mostly because the 5.0 is already slated to be under the hood beginning 2011 model year.
 
I do know that the 6.2 is going to be the base engine on the SD. I was just hoping for some more grunt in the 150. I can still dream right?
 
It's getting about a high300 horse 5.0....probably puts down 400 ft/lbs too. Numbers on the 5.0 in the mustang put it at 412hp(idk if official release or just another leak).
 
and what gas mileage is this going to get?
