SB cheveys all have the same mount. So yes. B/P Motors are differant.

GM used two types of transmission bolt patterns for V-8's Chevy and BOP....I think by b/p he means Buick and Pontiac,usualy its called BOP, Buick,Olds,and Pontiac which also includes Cadillac. But yes,transmissions for the small block Chevy,Big Block and 4.3L v-6 are all the same.....even the old 4 cylinders in the Chevy Vega used the same pattern.
