will a 3rd gen regular cab seat rails bolt into my 89 ranger regular cab?

thanks;

vlad

Hmm. I don't know about the actual rails, but I DO know that the seats will fit. I am running the seats from a 98 Eddie Bauer "X" in my 84 BII, which has the same seat pattern on the rails as the 2nd gens, 3rd gens, and probably the new ones, too.

i got seats out of an explorer im just trying to find rails to bolt them in

No, the '83 Ranger rails won't bolt into an '89.

Ford added an additional transverse reinforcement
sometime early in the 1992 model run.

What? Besides him asking about bolting the rails from a 3rd generation Ranger into a 1st gen ranger, 83 and 89 Rangers are both first Gen, so as long as they are both supers or they are both regular cabs, seats and rails should bolt one for one.

Also curious about this Traverse reinforcement that was added in the 92 models. Even if it was added then, what does that have to do with your previous statement about '83 and '89 models as they are both PRE '92 models?

im thinking he must have meant 93 instead of 83.
