who is running 4.88?s

I am with 34" tires. About 2400 rpm at 100 KPH.

I am with 36s and around 26-2800 rpm at 70 mph and 12 miles to the gallon

I got 4.88 in my 85 with a 2.8l turning 33's- for now. At highway speeds(65-75) i'm between 3 and 3200K maybe. The old 2.8 just doesnt have the power and the colorado mountains dont help out any. At any low speed it pulls great and i can usually start out in 2nd most the time. Low range is awsome with the 4.88s. Im glad I went 4.88 and not 4.56 Gas mileage is in the toilet though- but i guess we dont lift and gear our trucks to improve MPG's
