slow fuel guage

i just filled my tank and the immediately went to 1/2 tank. Then about 1 mile later it finally read full. fuel guage sender? maybe?

You WANT your gauge to move slowly. If it moves quickly, you can't read it on the road because all the sloshing wobbles it around.

If it reads reasonably accurate, it works. That's all it is supposed to do.

ah ok. i was just so used to my 95 always reading the level immediately
