4x4 problem

heyfolks, happy to be here, greetings to all i have 4wd issue my electronic 4x4 wont work,no lights on swith when pressed no noise nothing i do see the lights briefly when the truck is starting, i have checked fuses under dash in engine area?????

sounds to me like either the switch itself is bad or possibly the actuator on the t-case. better get the wire tester out

i think the 4wd fuses under the hood are like one of the 30 to 60 amp big fuses, there easy to see,
id bet it is the switch as well....

if you do decide to go with a new pushbuton switch, go to the junkyard thyre like 2to10 bucks... ford and goodyear etc charge like 50.
tcase motors are a dime a dozen at the junkers too....

those electric 4x4s are know for the little motor in the dash for going bad which results in no 4x4. if you are looking at the switch it is directly below it and inside the dash. those dashes come apart really easy. but that would be my guess idk. thats why i go with manual everything
