Got everything installed today

It is a DC SoundLab Lvl 4 15" powered by a Sundown SAE 1200d.

box is ~3.8 cubes after displacement tuned to 36hz.

Just got the 15 in...
 
looks good i bet it sounds great, go shoot some flex vids tommorow.
 
weird, never seen green primer before... but maybe that's common lol...

how hard was it to put primer on mdf? did you have to use a ton? what color are you painting and what type of paint

its regular grey primer. Pic was took at night so that may be why the color is off. and i havent decided wat color imma paint it yet...i think i may get some airbrush grafitti or something sweet/original.....also thought about leaving it primer and lettin all my friends draw me pics in sharpies (kinda a senior tribute type deal or w/e.

and its not too hard for primer to stick to MDF..the ends is whats a PIA...it just absorbs the primer....but i bondoed all the seams and countersink holes before primer so it done ok.
 
think i should try primering my first box? haven't build it yet.


I think it'd be easier than carpet... but maybe carpeting a box isn't as hard as I'd think it would be...

depends on if you get your seams pretty str8 and your wood cut str8...if not then you need to carpet it as its gonna l,ook like chit.
