Anyone have any 'Name' tatoo's?

Just curious if anyone here has a name tatoo?

Vanessa and I was talking about getting each others names tatooed (ya, I know).

Neither of us have any ink now. I never had any desire and Vanessa doesn't like them on girls unless they're hidden.

Personally, I think guys are nuts to get a wifes name tatooed now a days because the divorce rate is so high......

....but what the hell. I've been down that road before. I really love the woman, she'll get my name done at the same time I get hers, and if this marriage doesn't work, I really don't want to go down the isle again anyways.

So,

Anyone have any tatoos of names that they can post pics of??

When I was 18 (and dumb) I gave myself a poor quality tattoo on my ankle. It supposedly sai my at the time fiance's name in Japaneese. Now 31 married to someone else I could say that tat says anything! Hell, It says truck as far as anyone can tell.

I've always wondered about that. People get Chinese lettering tatooed on their body's and they don't even know how to read it. It could be saying something you don't want it to say.

I wouldn't get one of someone's name, not because of divorce rates. You have to feel as if your going to be with your woman forever. You can't feel as if you have any reservations. I was recently married and would never get her name tattooed on me. The reason is that they are just plain tacky. I've never met anybody who's had a tattoo and in 20 years said they are glad they had it. It's with you forever. I wouldn't hang a piece of art on my wall forever why would you put some on your body. Tastes change but ink is permanent. My dad has a tattoo he got years ago and at this point I have no idea what it is supposed to be anymore.
Just my thoughts.

I always thought the same thing. Some white guy giving you a tattoo that he says means "love" or "fertility" and it actually means "I'll have the chicken fried rice" or "I have a small penis". I guess you'd figure it out when all the Chinese people you see start to point and laugh.

I do not have my wifes name tatooed on me, but I do have my kids names on my right arm. I never want to get a womans name tatooed on me because of a possible divorce, but with my kids its different, I love me kids and no matter what happens they will always be my kids. I suppose if you would get your wifes name tatooed on you and ended up getting a divorce a couple years down the road, you could always go back and get it covered up, people get tats covered all the time.

I worked with a guy mechanicing at a car dealership who had the Ford oval on his arm, fords were the only thing he drove, he had a Ranchero and an old Mustang that he took to car shows, the tat did look cool but I would not have got it.

names are one thing i'll never get tattooed on me...just don't like the idea

edit - and it's not just the danger of having that name be something bad later. finding someone who does a really good script is more difficult than it seems like it would be

hah my local mech shop theres a guy with a tat of a heart and it has a name banner, the name on the banner has been blacked out
