94 manual Ranger Input Shaft Bearing replacement?

I need to replace my Input shaft bearing, but how difficult is it to remove from the shaft once I take off the cover? When clutch is released I can hear the worn bearing and when I last replaced my clutch, pilot bearing and throwout a couple of months ago i noticed there was some play on the input shaft, about 1/8 of an inch. Will I need any specialty tools and once i remove the cover will the shaft just slide out? Please advise. Thank You.

The shaft will NOT come out the front until the transmission is almost completely disassembled.

And don't decide it's the input bearing until you hget it apart.

I've never actually seen an M5OD-R1 trans with JUST a bad input bearing
