e-brake for 8.8 swap

so i was trying to eye out if the e brake from the 8.8 explorer rear end would reach my ranger 7.5 e brake setup. it actually looks like it would reach. but i remember like years ago i saw a thread on someone making a some kind of adapter for this to fit. any info would help
 
sweet. yeah it looked like it was the exact same setup. idk the thread i read so long ago it might have been for an older ranger
 
ya my 99 had a 7.5 I put an 8.8 in it from a 97, bolted right up no problemo.
