hey i my hanger bearing blew out todayand the only bearing i can get my hands on is for a 94 model. is there nay chance it will fit my 96 2wd with the 4 l motor?

This the beraing for the driveshaft???

yeah i guess i can call it a carrier bearing? but yes thats the one. i tried calling around and can only locate this one and it cost me $107 too wat a rip!

94' was a split year. If it's a later 94 then the bearing should work. I don't think it makes a dif 2wd or 4wd.

OR, you could just swap in a 98+ single peice d-shaft from supercab. Rid yourself of that POS.

Thanks, well i am not around home actually 500km from it so i am limited in my choices right now. looks like a will tackle the bearing in morning light since i cant drive with it the way it is, the price isnt to cool with me but i am stuck with no options.

so i would also be able to swap another shaft in from a newer ranger? an aluminum one? one piece? do i need a torch to cut the cross member out to do that? is there a thread on doing this thanks!

Update, i am going to try a wrecker up here for a one piece drive shaft, hoping for Al. From a 98 or newer 2dw supercab.
should be around the same price in the end compared to my 110 dollar bearing.
any other thoughts welcome
