I live off campus. I spend some time hanging with my buddies who live in the dorms for a reason. Legally I can now sleep with a girl born in 1991, there are a lot of people fresh from their mommies teet who have no idea how to act and it provides entertainment, and the food is free (unbelievably unhealthy but it will keep you regular).
On a more responsible note: I lived in a co-ed dorm my freshman year of college, I rarely drank (normally the dd), I only recall one drunk experience from that time period, and I didnt have any random hook-ups. I was in a steady, healthy relationship until I told her that I thought her mom was hot. There is something to be said about my parents having a positive influence on me and requiring that I be a responsible young adult before I left for school.

dude my school didnt even have dorms, all commuter campus
that is exactly how it is for me right now , right down to the letter , freshman are so funny to watch
that is also how i am , i watched alcohol and drugs tear my dads side of the family apart , so i rarely drink , i have been drunk once , and it was with a group of close friends back home. as for the relationship , i have one crazy ex , and after we broke up i got my first ranger, my currently girlfriend is molly , and she is parked out back of senior auto with no drivetrain

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! There's half the problem with the students in these big 4 year schools. Everytime i'm near one it's always the rich kids who drive daddy's lifted diesel truck or mommy's Escalade that act up and do that shit in school. They aren't responsible! They have no worries because their parents will pay for it no matter what it is.
Then you have the students who have to pay for schooling themselves or have to pay their parents back who study their asses off and work hard for everything.
