transfer case

if i do a v8 swap/tranny into my truck (1994 3.0 supercab 4x4) from a v8 explorer would i be able to bolt my transfer case to that tranny? or are v8 explorers that werent all wheel drive (ust four wheel drive) hard to find?

i might be wrong but i recall hearing alot about guys putting the explorer 5.0 in and the explorer transmission in and using a full size ford transfer case. trick was the explorer tailshaft is the same bolt pattern as the early 90s f-150s. they take the 2 speed transfer case out of the bronco/f150 platform and it bolts to the explorer transmission giving you a high low system
