Need some T-case Help

I have a 94 Ranger with M50d and a 1354E and i engaged my 4X4 and it went in, locked the hubs, backed out of a bit of mud and i couldnt get the T-case to disengage.The 4X4 light stayed on and i backed up pulled forward, blipped the throttle and it still owuld disengage so i shut the truck off. When i restarted the truck and turned the headlights on the 4x4 lights stayed off including the greeen backlighting for the buttons. The truck is now stuck in 4X4 with no lights on!!! what do i do to dissengage it??

your motor might be stuck, look in the tech section for a how to fix it

kinda sounds like your case is stuck or that shift motor just hit its last shift. take it off and try shifting, see if she moves. if not, time for a motor, if it does, you're boned. if you are lucky you might be able to shift it back manually with the motor out.

as for outright advice, get a 1354M

get under your truck and tap the motor with small hammer dont hit it hard just light and all over. then go and hit the buttom. if that doesnt work take the motor off get a pair of channel locks and carefully turn the knob that stick out that goes into the tcase motor to 2h.
