fuel pump replacement

fuel pump in my 99 3.0 is toast......

is there a special pump for the flex fuel models?? if not, what will fit, be cause im not spending the absurd amount of money that ford wants for a new pump/sending unit assembly.....

Try aftermarket at AutoZone or Advance or whatever parts store you want.

The flex fuel pump will be more expensive since it has to be able to handle ethanol. If you're not gonna run ethanol, I don't see why you can't just run the regular fuel pump, but don't quote me on that.

Either way, you need a new fuel pump and you should expect to pay a couple hundred.
