plastic hat

helppppp......i took my engine apart to do my head gaskets and low and behold two of the plastic hats on my fuel injectors came out in pieces :headbang:

so anybody know where to get these....dealer item or autozone maybe. no phone to find them and the trucks broke till i can get the hats :beer:

It would help to see them, but I'd try the dealer. Fuel injection parts are picky fit. If they are the clips that hold them to the rail, sorry for your luck, half the time you have to buy a new rail to get them.

My father has a 1998 ranger with fuel injection. He had the same problem on a rebuild. Had to get them from FORD along with a new rail if I remember right. Sorry, perhaps you could get them from a salvage.
