Hi---I get seem to find all the info i'm looking for ---i have a great 2.8 from a mustang and want to put it into my carbed 85 Ranger 4x4--Who has done this!- What were the workarounds for that install?? Looks like the older lower rad hose housing will hit the steering box for sure---older and new 2.8 housings have different bolt patterns as well-would i need to swap out the timing gear cover and or the waterpump as well--how about the pan and oil pump--looks like i might lose the dipstick hole with a changeover there? I just would like to hear from someone that's done it!--tia for info sorting out what i might encounter here! Brent
