Where is the hot wire for my headlights, or running lights, whichever wire would be wisest for hooking my sun visor running lights up to. here are a few pics under the steering column, i figure they'd be under there somewhere? This is on my 99. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The best way to find the wire that your looking for is a clymers or competition manual. Then double check it with one of those test lights with a point on it.I think it would work best on one the park lights which I believe is a brown wire and your going to have to take the panel that holds it at the light switch and catch it in there.

alright, i'll try that! thanks! also, my KC Daylighters keep shorting out. I've gone through like 4 fuses in the past few weeks, at first i thought it was the inline fuse near the battery was being soaked with water so i covered it up with tape, then i shut the door, and it insta-shorted out. i looked at SOME of the wiring i did and i dont see anything fishy, nothing pulled apart or anything, it just started happening, i've had them on there ever since the start of summer probably. no problems til like a month ago. i might pull up the carpet and inspect the rest, what factors could cause it to short out? sorry, im a "novice" at best concerning wiring...
