hey ya'll
i have a 200 ranger trailhead with the 3.0 and automatic trans. and 4.10 gears i think. i am wanting to crank the torsion bars and throw some slightly taller tires on it and was thinking that a little more power may be nice as well.
now i use to have a escort zx2 and new about all kinds of little power tricks and what parts were good to buy but i dont know much about my ranger in these areas. im wanting a new exhaust and intake and possibly some headers. now these are my questions

1. are these good things to upgrade?
2. is there a bolt on exahust kit for my truck because i havent found one?
3. whats a good exahust, intake, headers, etc....?
4. what else would be a good upgrade?

and as with most of us price is an object but i can do most non welding work myself. thanks ya'll

headers will help, but the only thing replacing the rest of the exhaust is going to produce (especially cat-back) is noise.

your single best upgrade for your money is a programmer...especially single you have a power sucking auto tranny. this will allow you to adjust your shift points to best suite your engines high peak power (3500+ RPM).

and if/when you go to larger tires, you NEED to regear your axles (front and rear) or else it will cost you power and increase wear on your transmission.
