I was just looking at this web site www.truxxx.com, and they make 2-3" leveling kit ford sla rangers. I have not heard of these folks before. Are there any quality concerns? Is $227 too much? I have the factory overload springs the rear sits about 2" higher then the front and i would like to have a level truck.

Yeah and next to the part number for that thing im pretty sure it says 95-whatever as the application. Maybe its just that i dont have my contacts in, but those wont work well for a coil spring spacer lol.

hey canyoncritter good looking out, that might just speed up the process a little money wise...

These aftermarket keys are the biggest scam I've ever seen.

The ONLY thing the keys allow you to do is to crank the torsion bars past what the stock keys allow. Anything past 2" is dangerous because the front suspension components are not made to handle those angles. The tie rods, ball joints, and CVs will eat themselves up. Crank up your bars 1.5" with the stock keys and get an add a leaf for the rear. Save yourself some money.

To put this in perspective, why would Superlift offer a kit that costs $1500 to lift a 98+ Ranger 3" if you could do it stock? It's because at 3" you need drop bracketry to drop the control arms to maintain good geometry. The keys are worthless and the biggest scam ever.

I have never really dealt with twisting the torsion bars up, is there anything that i should be aware of? Is this going to affect the ride or effect tire wear? the rear already has the add-a-leaf from the factory I just want my little gray truck to sit level. any and all input helps.

The ride will get stiffer, yes. However, it is not unbearable in the least. I've had my bars cranked for a couple years now and I love the way it rides. It was a little too soft before. Tire wear won't be an issue as long as you keep the truck aligned.

On that 98 Ranger with the 265/75/16 BFg's what width rims do you have and what back spacing do they have?
