i have a 1985 ford ranger with a 2.3 in it the air dont work and know what the wire look like so i dont know if it unhooked plz help me

You mean the air conditioning doesn't work right? If so the chances are the system has leaked out all of the refrigerant thus not allowing the compressor to run. Best to take it to someone that has an air conditioning service machine to find out where it is leaking from.
