right at the beginning of summer my back canopy window broke and i havent fixed it yet because i havent needed my canopy........n e ways i was just wondering where i would buy safety glass from.

safety glass....do you mean tempered glass (side windows) or do you mean laminated glass (windshields) in either case you cant just buy it. im assuming you mean tempered, and tempered glass is cut and formed, then tempered. once its tempered, it cannot be modified in any way, it will undoubtedly shatter. laminated glass cannot be bought in sheet either, its formed and laminated, then baked to make the plastic clear. your only options are plate glass (way too dangerous) or acrylic (plex) or polycarbonate (lexan) both of which will be expensive. plex will crack really easy and will scratch if its abused too much. lexan will not break, ever, but is prone to scratching easy.

Take a look at your local home improvement superstore (Lowes, home depot etc...) Last time I was at a home depot, I saw plexi being sold in various sizes. I don't recall the prices, but it didn't seem to bad to me. They sell it in several thicknesses up to 3/8" I think, maybe thicker.

You used to be able to buy flat laminated glass in any shape you wanted, just take a template and they would cut it for you, but that was quite a few years ago and here not there.
