I really hate to ask this but here it goes....I am considering doing the rear shackle flip on my 84 long box, I have read up on the how to, but it appears to me it would come into contact with the bottom of the bed...

I assume this is just an optical illusion...? It would give me roughly a 2" drop, correct?

Forgive my ignorance, it's been a long time since I lowered anything.

Not a stupid question at all. It does kind of look like there will be interference if you are just eyeballing it. Mine clears just fine and I've not heard of anyone having an issue with bed to shackle clearance.

Everybody says the flip gives a 2" drop but this is approximate. My hanger flip actually yielded about a 2-1/2" drop.

I appreciate it sir, I figured it was just an illusion! :icon_cheers:

Go Up Not Down B2 Lol

:icon_rofl: I always had lowriders growing up, even had a '71 oldsmobile Hearse (not Hurst) on hydraulics! I still love the sight of ground huggin', guess it never leaves your blood! :headbang:

I have my B2 lifted, just wanted to do a slight static drop on my 2wd Ranger to help with the stance until I bagged it.....how quickly things change, now I gotta sell the Ranger so that's out of the plan.

Maybe another Hearse with "bags" will be in the works in the near future! :icon_welder:
