well turns out there was a dang durn 3.8 sitting at my house all along, didnt even realize it till my dad pointed it out in the yard(dont ask, just yeah we from the south 
) so thinking about doing the 3.8 swap in my ranger, but the swap in the tech forum is a bit confusing to me,heater box, check got that part just like the 302 swap but what about bell housing 3.8 are the same bolt pattern as a 5.0 but my dad was arguing about whether i need a manual or automatic 3.8 bell housing, it was a very heated argument. but anyone know? and is there anything else i need?
