I've been beating every rear differential option to the point where I've made a decision. I want to purchase a AUBURN ECTED locker for the 8.8" in my ranger.

1. Anyone with this locker, give me some input on it.

2. I live in Southern Wisconsin, so if anyone can recommend a shop to install it, that'll be great!

3. What would something like this cost to install?

...or if any one of you guys living in or around wisconsin know how to set up my gears for a new carrier, I'd be willing to pay you. It would be nice to see how it's done.

In my opinion if your rock crawling an air locker is the way to go.

I'd be using it for sand, snow, boat ramps, getting through fields for hunting... looking for a secret weapon that won't be of annoyance or push me from side to side on the highway like I had with a lock-rite. The ECTED isn't a locker? I'll have to look into that. What other type of selectable locker do you suggest?

The No-Slip doesn't do the tail wiggle my Lock-Right sometimes did... Same goes for the No-Slip in my buddies ranger.

Your choices for selectable are ARB, and the Eaton E locker, both have their pros/cons.

I'd buy a locker I can turn on and off when I want. What brand is up to you.

The Eaton E-locker would be my next choice because I would have to invest in an air compressor for the ARB. Also thinking about a no-slip due to cost. I know I can install the no-slip myself and save some cash. Just don't want it pushin the truck around and poppin all the time.
