Hey all, we got a International spreader truck in and we pulled an injector we suspected was bad and found that the tip was broken off, we then pulled the turbo to see if it was mangled from the piece exiting the engine but the turbo still looks great so we aren't sure what kind of damage it did and we haven't found a borescope that can fit in thru the injector bore. Anyone know of one that has around a 5-6mm end on it? If not gonna pull the head Monday to see whats the deal. thanks guys

pull exhaust manifolds first.....then if no find then head comes off...

How long has it been skipping? if its been skipping a while I would just put the injector in and start it before I pull off the head cause its already done the damage

It's probably imbedded in the piston head. There is no room in there at all. I don't think the tip made it out.

Thats what my boss was thinking that it is in the piston.
