302 swap on 88 ranger

i have a 88 ranger 2.9 auto and i need an estimate on a 302 swap with fuel injection i am staying with an auto trans. Can anyone help me with an estimate on a complete conversion with all new parts?

if you buy EVERYTHING new, you'll probably spend over $30,000.......

Buy a working , running 5.0 Mustang, and you would have very few parts left to buy.

What do Mustangs cost in your area?

$30,000? Ya right.
Its like $6-$7k for a complete 302 crate engine on Jegs.com

I did mine cheap... I spent the money in the radiator and tranny..... All depends on how you go about it. What do you have now or what are you looking at as a donor?
